Level 3 University Traditional Mandarin Chinese

This course is designed to integrate traditional Mandarin literacy and communication skills for students to make connection encountered in texts, and the world around them through reading and writing summaries, information paragraphs, opinion pieces, and news reports.

An important focus of this course will be developing the skills for using language learning strategies appropriately and effectively.

Students will read texts from various periods and cultures to help them become aware of the connection between language through time and the world.

This course is intended to help students develop the skills that will enable them to engage in lifelong language learning and cultural exploration for personal grow and active participation in society.

Prerequisite: Students may take courses at Levels 2 and 3 if they have completed level 1.
